Special Announcement: Milk Paint and Chalk Paint Classes

Are you interested in learning more about milk paint or chalk paint products? Would you like to have a play with all the gorgeous milk paint colours and finishes, including waxes, hemp oil and aging dust?

We excited to let our readers know two of our talented stallholders are offering special paint classes at The Mill Markets Daylesford. Monique of Dandelion Wood and Denise of Barleycorn Vintage Finds will conduct two separate classes:

Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint class will take place on July 12

Websters Down Under Chalk Paint Powder class will take place on July 19th.

Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint class:

Learn the Basics of Using Milk Paint – it is easier than you think!!
A 4 hour hands-on class.
Learn how to mix milk paint.
Learn when you have to add the bonding agent and how.
Learn how to use it as a stain.
Learn how to use hemp oil and a wax puck to create a resist or chippy look.
Learn a two colour technique.
Learn how to make your own custom colours.

Denise will show you the various finishes you can achieve using Miss Mustard seeds wax, white wax, antique wax and hemp oil.

All tuition, milk paint, waxes, coffee, tea and cake by the fire are all included on the day.

Take home your finished sample boards and a small project you will complete on the day.

You can bring your lunch or have it at the Peppermill cafe inside the Mill.

You will get an additional 10% off all paint products on the day.
