To All Amazing Customers and Stallholders,

Yesterday, the Victorian Premier Dan Andrews outlined some relaxing of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) Restrictions.

At this stage, the relaxing of restrictions do not go far enough to enable the Amazing Mill Markets to open its doors. It is essential that we are able to maintain a safe and healthy workplace for our Staff and Customers.

A reminder of the five reasons to leave home:
1. Shopping for food and supplies that you need
2. Caregiving and medical
3. Exercise
4. Work and Education
5. Visiting family and friends if you really need to.

As the Premier said yesterday in his press conference, “you should only be undertaking these activities if you really need to. If it’s integral to your health and wellbeing.”

In light of the allowable reasons to leave home, as a business we would be derelict in our obligations to open at this time.

The Premier, in consultation with the Victorian Chief Health Officer, has indicated he will review progress and discuss further relaxation of restrictions towards the end of May.

Let me assure you all, I am very keen to reopen, but only when it is safe to do so and when trading becomes more viable for our stallholders.

Kind regards and stay safe,
Mark Ward.
