August 16 2014The Amazing Mill Markets Geelong is Living in The 70s, Sunday August 17, 2014. Our Geelong venue, located at 114 Bellarine Highway, Newcomb will be taking A Trip to Remember, back to the 1970s.
There will be entertainment, including a ‘Greased Lightning’ floorshow, 70s music introduced by DJ Max, formerly of Sugar’s Disco and The Sundowner, plus live music by 70s cover band, Riversnake. The full itinerary is given below.
Our roving judges will be awarding spot prizes of $100 Mill Markets Gift Voucher prizes to The Best 70s Dressed Male and Female. Other Mill Markets Gift Voucher prizes of $50 will be given out in other categories including under 16 Best 70s Dressed.
Visitors will be invited to chill out in The Lava Lounge or play video games in our free Retro Gaming area. There will also be a photo booth and more!
A special menu of 1970s favourites will be available for purchase at the Peppermill Café.
Outside, a special display of classic cars will be on show.
This is going to be a fabulous day!

1.00 pm to 1.30 pm: Riversnake – Cover Band (70s rock)
1.30 pm to 2.15 pm: DJ Max – 70s Music
2.15 pm to 2.45 pm: Riversnake – Cover Band (70s rock)
2.45 pm to 3.00 pm: DJ Max – 70s Music
